The annual retreat for Diocesan School Principals was organized on 21st May 2003 at St. Jerome¡¦s Church.  A total of 120 participants attended.

The Retreat Master, Fr. Peter Choy, President of Holy Spirit Seminary College, emphasized in the introduction the importance of finding our mission in life.  St. Peter was awoken by a cock¡¦s crow after denying Christ thrice.  Similarly, we might one day be touched by something to realize God¡¦s calling and undertake something different.  The theme focused on the five Mysteries of Light.  The inter-relationship between the Mysteries of Light with the Joyful Mysteries and Sorrowful Mysteries were explained respectively from the perspective of the Mysteries of Light.  God¡¦s salvation for mankind and the role of Mary as the Mother of God and later, the Church, was depicted in the Mysteries.

In the afternoon, a film entitled ¡¥Mary of Nazareth¡¦ was shown. It was followed by an enthusiastic and interesting discussion.   The retreat ended with celebration of the Eucharist.  It was indeed a fruitful day for the participants who no doubt left the venue with plenty of enlightenment.
